Multi-layer glass is produced by using multiple glass panels, which are interconnected with the help of plastic layers. Multi-layer glass is a serious obstacle in the way of entering certain area. Usage of this kind of glass is suggested in banks, embassies, states institutions and police departments.
Resistance test in accordance with class P6B – P8B considers with most serious types of attack, which includes usage of 2kg heavy hatchet. The blow of such hatchet is equivalent of 300hM at speed of 11m/s.
Glazing is divided into three categories of resistance:
P6B – 30-50 blows
P7B – 51-70 blows
P8B – more than 70 blows
18mm thick glass is certified in the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the protective class P6B; 25mm thick glass – P7B; 28mm thick glass – P8B.

All types of glass are covered by a 300 micron thick SECURGLASS layer. That entirely excludes the possibility of shrapnel on the opposite side of the glass.
Our production is also tested in accordance with the German standard DIN 52290 3rd division “Blow-resistant glazing”. Resistance test in accordance with the protective class B (as for EN 356) considers the most serious type of attack, which involves attack with a 2kg heavy hatchet. It is determined during the test, how many blows are necessary to create a 400x400mm large hole in the glass. The blow is equivalent to 300hM at speed of 11m/s.
